The children got so much from this, we will definitely be doing it again! We learned how to care for the eggs, keeping them warm. We watched the eggs hatch and looked after the chicks. 

It is one thing to talk to children about lie cycles and how things grow, but showing them makes it so much clearer for them. Our natural world is full of wonder. Imagine if you had never seen a giraffe and someone tried to explain it to you, seeing one would make so much more sense. We found an ethical company that would take our lovely chicks, but one of our families took them in on their farm. We have loved getting updates on them.
